Dear Partner: We are pleased to announce that on March 25th, Direct Loan Servicing unveiled major improvements to its current web site. What are these improvements? They include new features such as a detailed borrower account history, an on-line repayment plan and payment due date change option, an interactive deferment and forbearance determination feature, and much more. All options are immediately available and accessible from the home page no searching required. Its servicing at your fingertips. How can you access Direct Loan Servicing Online? The web site URL is: www.dlservicer.ed.gov How can you view the web site without the required PIN? We have updated the demonstration web site you currently have available to you. The demonstration site is an exact replica of the Servicing web site including all of the improvements implemented March 25th. Listed below are test accounts for you to use in accessing this site. You may update borrower information, change repayment plans, or request a deferment or forbearance as you navigate through the site. This is test data and no borrower will be affected by the changes you make. Note: To access account information, you will be required to log-on from the PIN registration page. To log-on you will need SSN, first two letters of last name, DOB and a PIN (use five zeros as the PIN) as listed below.
