This training will cover basic concepts, processes and procedures for combining education loans into a Direct Consolidation Loan. Topic to be covered include: The consolidation process Regaining Title IV eligibility Eligibility requirements Counseling your borrowers Repayment options Borrower assistance service Deferment options Other helpful tips Who should attend? Financial Aid professionals wanting to assist borrowers with questions about Direct Consolidation Loans with comfort and ease. When and where is the training? Two half-day sessions are scheduled for Thursday, October 28, 1999 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. OR 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The training will be held in the Regional Training Facility located at 10 Causeway Street, Room 343, Boston, MA.
