SUBJECT: Suspension of Default Reinsurance Claim Payments Due to Non-Receipt of September 1996 Quarterly Report
REFERENCE: 34 CFR Part 682.404(c) Federal Reinsurance Agreement
Dear Guaranty Agency Director:
The Department of Education (ED) will suspend payment of reinsurance claims to agencies that have not submitted their September 1996 Guaranty Agency Quarterly/Annual Report (ED Form 1130) by December 1,1996. Reinsurance claim payments will resume when we receive the required report.
Please notify your personnel of this deadline to avoid interruption of reinsurance claim payments. The completed report should be mailed to:
