Description
This session will describe how the structure of your institution’s academic programs, as well as the types of academic calendars for each program, impact the awarding and disbursing of Title IV assistance. We will provide guidance on the requirement for defining the Title IV academic year for each program and how terms are defined and used for Title IV purposes. This session will also include information about Direct Loan Standard Academic Years (SAY) and a Borrower-Based Academic Years (BBAY).
