Description
Campus safety is a major issue for every school, large or small, urban, suburban, or rural, public or private. An effective safety program is an essential part of your school’s overall risk management strategy and is one of the best ways to protect your “brand.” In this session, you will learn about the Clery Act’s requirements on sexual assault prevention and how these rules intersect with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Hate crime reporting and prevention will also be covered. Participants will receive practical advice and effective strategies for developing and implementing vital campus safety and crime prevention policies, procedures, and programs.
