Megan Giedraitis has been with the U.S. Department of Education’s office of Federal Student Aid (FSA) for three years. Her work includes Federal Pell Grant Program related issues, such as tracking policy changes to the Pell Grant; overseeing grant changes in the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System and the Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant Program; and communicating system changes and system testing.
Prior to working with FSA, Megan worked at her alma mater, DePaul University, for 12 years. She started in their financial aid office and then transferred to their Division of Student Affairs, where she helped military-connected students utilize their GI Bill® benefits and Title IV aid. She is a “Double Demon” with both a bachelor’s and master’s from DePaul. She loves being outside in her backyard with her husband and two small children, reading, and vacationing with her family and friends.
