David Bartlett is a Training Officer at the U.S. Department of Education’s office of Federal Student Aid, where he has worked for more than 29 years. He started as a client account manager during the early years of the Direct Loan Program, specializing in hands-on software training. Then in 2004, he joined the Training and Information Services Group as a Training Officer, helping to develop and deliver training. David’s experience attending a community college before transferring to a four-year college, where he was a work-study student, gave him a breadth of understanding of different school environments and aid programs that he’s brought with him into his training role.
