She is a Title IV loan expert with over 20 years of experience with the federal student loan programs from awarding aid at higher education institutions, ensuring compliance at a guaranty agency, and advocating for federal student loan policy reform at non-profits. She currently serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL), Perkins Loan, and Direct Loan (DL) programs at FSA ensuring policy changes are effectively implemented across systems and stakeholders. With two decades of expertise, Ashley plays a key role in translating complex regulations into actionable processes that support schools, borrowers, and servicers nationwide.
