Due to space, logistics, and program design considerations, participation in the 2026 Federal Student Aid Training Conference (FSATC) will be limited to 2,000 attendees. To allow for broad school participation, only one individual per eligible school, as defined by the six-digit OPEID, may attend. The 2026 conference will feature a streamlined agenda focused primarily on changes to the Title IV programs resulting from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. All sessions will be presented as general sessions. There will be no concurrent or breakout sessions.

All general sessions will be held in a single main room, with live streaming to overflow rooms if necessary.

Yes. Federal Student Aid (FSA) will provide additional training opportunities, including online courses available through the FSA Training Center, live webinars with question-and-answer sessions, and in-person training at other events, such as regional financial aid association conferences.

The conference agenda and session topics will be posted on the FSATC website in the coming weeks. Schools are encouraged to continue checking the website for the most current information and additional updates.

No. There will not be a live stream or hybrid attendance option. Conference sessions will be recorded and made available on the FSA Training Conference website shortly after the conclusion of the conference.

Yes. Participants seated in the main session room will have the opportunity to ask questions during the session. Participants viewing from overflow rooms will be able to ask questions in the Resource Center after each session.
