The Message Class Table File (MESSAGTB) automatically populates into the EDconnect software when a user connects to a Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) Mailbox. EDconnect uses the Message Class Table to recognize standard files (or message classes) that are used to send and receive data. Additionally, the Message Table File may also be used as a reference by SAIG mainframe users who would like information on the various Message Classes.
