The EDExpress for Windows software is a PC application that processes, packages, and manages Title IV student financial aid records. Federal Student Aid provides EDExpress at no charge to institutions. In addition to managing Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR) data, EDExpress automates tasks involved in building the XML Common Record file required for records submitted to the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System. Users can create and modify records that are submitted to the COD System, import responses, and receive critical reports. The software can also assist in reconciling Federal Pell Grant Program School Account Statements with the school's own data through an automated comparison tool that identifies discrepancies.
