Subject: 2015-2016 EDE Technical Reference (December 2014 Update)
We are pleased to announce the posting of the updated 2015-2016 Electronic Data Exchange (EDE) Technical Reference. The EDE Technical Reference provides programmer specifications, record layouts, and other detailed information for schools or other organizations that need to design software systems to interface with the U.S. Department of Education's application processing system.
The December 2014 update contains revisions to valid field content in several layouts in the Record Layouts section (Section 3). Fields impacted by these updates include High School Name, Reprocessed Reason Code, Pushed ISIR flag, and Verification Tracking Flag.
For more information on the revisions, consult the tracking log of changes section posted with the technical reference and as part of the Appendix section.
