| Publication Date: August 31, 2007 Bulletin ID: DLB-07-18 Summary: Upcoming Delay in Reporting Direct Loan Data to NSLDS Posted on 08-31-2007 Normally, the Direct Loan Servicing System (DLSS) reports information on William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (Direct Loan) Program loans to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) once a week on the weekend. Due to the need to make enhancements to the DLSS on the weekend of September 8 and 9, 2007, the DLSS will not report Direct Loan data to the NSLDS that weekend. The impact of this delay in NSLDS reporting is that Direct Loan data submitted to the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System during the period August 30, 2007 through September 5, 2007 will not be available in the NSLDS until Monday, September 17, 2007.
