Subject: Loan Origination Website Partially Disables Functionality
Dear Partner:
Beginning October 1, we will disable part of the Loan Origination (LO) website, https://lo-online.ed.gov.
How does this affect me?
You will no longer be able to access prior year Direct Loan information via the LO website. Questions about prior year data should be directed to the COD School Relations Center at the number below. For current year data, the COD website should become your primary source for on-line loan information.
What will remain available on the website?
The LO website will remain available to manage your School Profile used to support your options on the eMPN website and to use the MPN search function.
How will I connect to Direct Loan Servicing (DLSS)?
Effective September 27, 2003, you will no longer have access to DLSS via the LO website. Instead, you can access DLSS via the COD website. Please see DLB-03-37 for additional information on this topic.
Please note the date change for this implementation. DLB-03-37 and other notices previously indicated that the connection to DLSS would be available a few days longer, but due to implementation schedules, the effective date has been moved forward to the 27th. Please share this change with others at your school.
Where do I go for help?
If you need COD access, please refer to the following IFAP announcement: http://www.ifap.ed.gov/cod/0318Schoolaccess.html. If you have any questions concerning COD, you may contact the COD School Relations Center at 800/848-0978 or by email at CODSupport@acs-inc.com.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership in the Direct Loan Program.
Sincerely,
Jane Holman
