This bulletin provides you with the new URL for the electronic Master Promissory Note (MPN) for Direct Subsidized Loans and Direct Unsubsidized Loans. The new address will be http://dlenote.ed.gov.

As a reminder, the new web site will not be available for students to complete their electronic MPNs until July 2, 2001. Anyone using the URL before July 2, 2001, will be directed to the Loan Origination home page.

We are very excited about this opportunity to offer an electronic MPN to your students and thank you for your continued partnership in the Direct Loan program.
