The 732-LOS Report is designed to assist you with program year closeout. The Loan Origination Center (LOC) sends the file to a school's Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) mailbox automatically. The data in the report is cumulative for the processing year through the report date based on LOC records. We send the 732-LOS as two text files: a summary file and a detail file at the loan level (not disbursement level). We provide loan data at the loan level in order to reduce the size of the file and to make the comparison process easier for you.

The file layouts for the 732-LOS Summary and Detail Files may be found in Direct Loan Bulletin 99-72 at http://www.ed.gov/DirectLoan/bulletin/1999/dlb99-72.html. If you need assistance with importing these message classes and/or assistance in preparing a report from these files, please contact your regional Client Account Manager.

Thank you for your ongoing partnership in the Direct Loan program.

Sincerely,

Jane Holman
