We want to thank those schools that have successfully closed out the year. We recognize and appreciate the effort that you and your staff put forth in order to assist in reconciliation. For those of you who haven't closed out the year, please work with the Loan Origination Center (LOC) to resolve all outstanding school issues by October 6, 2000. All 97-98 Message Classes will close on that day. All batch processing must be received by the LOC no later than 6:00 PM central time. This will ensure that your batches will be processed and acknowledgements returned. Again, thank you for your attention to the reconciliation process, and thank you for your ongoing partnership in the Direct Loan program.
