PublicationDate: 5/1/2000 BulletinID: DLB - 00 - 29 May 2000 DLB-00-29 Subject: Inactive loans on the 30-day warning report Dear Partner: Some of you told us that inclusion of inactive loans on the 30-day warning report made it unwieldy and therefore not very useful for reconciliation. A loan is considered inactive when all actual disbursements have been adjusted to zero, all anticipated disbursements have been adjusted to zero, and the loan amount approved has been adjusted to zero. Loans inactivated after the implementation of a programming change in March 2000 are not included on the 30-day warning report. The LOC will flag loans inactivated before March to exclude them as well from the report beginning June 7, 2000. We hope this change will allow you use this valuable report tool routinely as part of your reconciliation process. Thank you for your ongoing partnership in the Direct Loan program.
