Subject: Reminder of the Scheduled Systems Downtime at the Loan Origination
Center - February 18 to February 28, 2000

Dear Partner:

This bulletin follows up on DLB 00-03 and reminds you of the scheduled systems downtime at the Loan Origination Center (LOC) from February 18 to 8am EST on February 28. The LOC will be open and the customer service representatives will take notes on any action items that require research. They will begin working on those questions and issues on the morning of February 28.

The LOC will process all data received on the TIV WAN by 8:00 PM EST on
February 17, 2000 during the cycle that runs that night and return acknowledgments on February 18, 2000. Beginning on February 18, the LOC will retrieve school data from the TIV WAN each night at 8:00 PM EST and store that data for processing. All batch data will be processed in the date order it was received after processing resumes on February 28. The LOC will use the week of February 28 through March 3 to process the previous weeks data and get caught up on the current data.

Below is the schedule for processing the data.

For those schools that have the LOC draw down funds, the LOC will run a final drawdown on Wednesday, February 16 that will cover disbursements dated through March 2. The next drawdown will run on Sunday, February 27.

We apologize for any inconvenience the downtime may cause you. However, it is necessary to ensure the processing enhancements and software for academic year
