| PublicationDate: 1/1/2000 BulletinID: DLB - 00 - 1 January 2000 DLB 00-01 Subject: New Direct Loan Counseling Guides and Videos Dear Partner: We want to let you know the new Direct Loan Counseling Guides for borrowers and counselors and new Direct Loan counseling videos are available for distribution from the Loan Origination Center (LOC). Direct Loan schools and borrowers played an active role in revising the videos. The videos feature two of your colleagues from Direct Loan schools. Two borrowers who attend Direct Loan schools, a Client Account manager, and a staff member from the Department's headquarters in Washington, DC are also featured. We appreciate the opportunity to work with these individuals. Their expertise in developing scenarios, content and technical guidance was invaluable. Twelve Direct Loan schools and 25 summer interns also provided assistance with the development of the videos from beginning to end and we would like to thank them. We look forward to continuing this kind of working relationship with future projects. At this time you will receive errata sheets with the Entrance and Exit Counseling Guides. Please check that these sheets accompany the guides when you receive your order. You may order the counseling guides and videos from the Loan Origination Center by using the attached order sheet for Direct Loan publications.
