| PublicationDate: 8/1/99 BulletinID: DLB - 99 - 53 August 1999 DLB 99-53 Subject: Zero Dollar Disclosures Dear Partner: Beginning with the origination records received July 23, 1999, we will stop sending disclosures when we receive a change record that reduces both the subsidized and the unsubsidized total loan amount to $0 or spaces when there is only one loan. We will begin sending $0 disclosures again on August 27, 1999. If you need to reduce the loan to $0 because you will not be disbursing the loan, we recommend that you reduce it after August 27 so that the borrower receives a disclosure showing the loan amount at zero. If you have any questions or concerns, please call your Loan Origination Center Customer Service Representative or your Client Account Manager.
