Because July 31, 1999 falls on a Saturday, the deadline has been changed to August 2, 1999. A notice announcing the deadline will be published in the Federal Register shortly. All 1997-98 records must be transmitted to and accepted by, the Loan Origination Center (LOC) by August 2, 1999. Our earlier bulletins to you concerning closeout of the 1997-98 program year provided you with processing information and steps (Direct Loan Bulletins 99-30 and 31, respectively).
