| PublicationDate: 5/1/99 BulletinID: DLB - 99 - 28 May 1999 DLB 99-28 Subject: Correction to the 1999-2000 Technical Reference Dear Colleague: We have learned of an error in the 1999-2000 Technical Reference concerning the Academic Year Start and End Dates for the Full Loan Origination Export. The Technical Reference incorrectly states that these fields are required only for Stafford loans and not for PLUS loans. They are actually required for all loans. Because of the incorrect statement, some mainframe schools are sending PLUS loan origination records without the fields populated, and the Loan Origination Center is rejecting them.
