The brochure explains the master promissory note (MPN) for 1999-2000 to Direct Loan students. Financial aid directors, students, and Department of Education staff wrote and reviewed the pamphlet, which covers topics related to the master promissory note in a question and answer format. It discusses new features of the MPN including the Disclosure Statement, identifies the types of loans covered by the MPN, and answers questions related to school transfers and grade changes. It also provides instructions for completing the MPN and includes a chart explaining how the financial aid process works.
