FY 1997 Draft Cohort Default Rate Data was mailed to all schools on March 29, 1999. All schools, regardless of the schools cohort default rate, should review the cohort default rate data to ensure its accuracy. If the school believes that any data is inaccurate, it must submit a draft data challenge as outlined in the FY 1997 Draft Cohort Default Rate Guide within 30 calendar days of receipt of the schools draft cohort default rate data. This is the only opportunity for most schools to ensure the accuracy of the schools cohort default rate.
