| PublicationDate: 5/1/96 BulletinID: DLB - 96 - 7 May 1997 DLB-96-7 Summary: Meeting for Direct Loan third-party servicers Dear Colleague: The Direct Loan Task Force will sponsor a one day meeting for third-party servicers who provide commercial software or services for any aspect of Direct Loan processing to schools participating in the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program (Direct Loans). The purpose of the meeting is to provide information on proposed requirement changes for 1997-98 and to get suggestions and recommendations from the third-party servicer community on any changes that may need to be incorporated into the Department's system in 1997-98 and in the future. The meeting will be held on Friday, June 21, 1996 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Ballroom at the Holiday Inn, Crystal City, Virginia. A limited number of sleeping rooms have been blocked at the rate of $112.98 (plus tax) held for arrival on June 20 and departure on June 21.
