| PublicationDate: 9/1/97 BulletinID: DLB - 97 - 37 September 1997 DLB-97-37 Summary: DIRECT LOAN BORROWER DELINQUENCY REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST Dear Colleague: This letter is to inform you of the status of the Borrower Delinquency Report for the month of August. Our review of this report indicated that it incorrectly stated the "delinquency date" for loans that were 270 days delinquent. Due to the complexity of correcting the problem, the August report has been delayed. We have been working diligently to correct the error since it was discovered and planned to have this report to schools by October 7, 1997. However, given the fact that the Borrower Delinquency Reports for the month of September are scheduled to be sent to schools by October 14, we have decided NOT to send the August report, but instead will only be mailing the September Borrower Delinquency Report in order to provide schools with the most current information available. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We will do our best to ensure that this problem does not occur again.
