We are pleased to announce the release of the 2026–27 update for FSA Training for Foreign Schools, a web-based tutorial on federal student aid program administration in a foreign school setting.
FSA Training for Foreign Schools is a comprehensive, self-paced online training that includes six modules covering the fundamentals of federal student aid program administration, all with a focus on foreign school participation in the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program.
In addition to annual updates and enhancements across all topics, we added new interactive learning activities to many of the courses in the 2026–27 award year training. You will find some of these new activities in the following courses:
-
Completing the FAFSA Form
-
Types of Charges
-
Enrollment Reporting
-

The courses in FSA Training for Foreign Schools can be completed individually, or you may complete all courses in the training, allowing you to tailor the training to your specific needs. The courses feature real-world scenarios, instructional videos, and knowledge checks that will help you master the training concepts.
