This year the U.S. Department of Education (the Department) is hosting its annual FSA Training Conference for Financial Aid Professionals at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in Reno, Nevada from Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019 through Friday, Dec. 6, 2019. Note: On Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, the Department will host a Foreign Schools Preconference Day from 8 a.m.–5:45 p.m. (local time).
The conference provides the forum for the Department to share with the financial aid community the most up-to-date information on the Title IV Federal Student Aid (FSA) programs. There will be interest sessions covering a wide range of topics from the implementation of programmatic requirements to technologies associated with our information systems.
The Multi-Regional and Foreign Schools Participation Division sent an email to foreign schools on Sept. 26, 2019 about the upcoming conference and the sessions specifically created for foreign schools which begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, 2019. The email text is attached to this announcement.
