Subject: Foreign School Information Web Page Updates - SAIG Enrollment Information and Forms
The Foreign School Information Web page consolidates, in one location, the U.S. Department of Education’s (the Department’s) guidance and information for foreign schools. We are pleased to announce the posting of updated setup information for the Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) on the Foreign School Information Web page.
The SAIG allows authorized entities, including foreign schools, to exchange data electronically with the Department. Previously, foreign schools had to contact the Department directly to receive SAIG enrollment information. With this update, foreign schools can find SAIG overview and contact information as well as SAIG Enrollment Forms and instructions on the Foreign School Information Web page.
The SAIG information is located under the “SAIG Overview and Contact Information” link in the Foreign School Direct Loan Setup and SAIG Overview section (the first main box on the page).
As we continue to make updates to the Foreign School Information Web page, we will notify schools through future Foreign School Updates. Please monitor the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) Web site for these communications.
