We will be conducting extended maintenance on StudentAid.gov over the weekend of June 27–28, 2026, which will impact functionality. The maintenance will begin at approximately 4 p.m. Eastern time (ET) on Saturday, June 27, and run until approximately 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 28. Users will be unable to log in, create an account, or access the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form or income-driven repayment application during this time.
In addition, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will be performing maintenance on Saturday, June 27, between approximately 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. ET, impacting the automated transfer of tax return information on StudentAid.gov. From 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., users will need to provide federal tax information manually.
Applicants may wish to complete their applications before the outages begin or after the outages are over. We appreciate your patience as this necessary maintenance is completed.
