Federal Student Aid (FSA) offices and contact centers will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026, to observe the Memorial Day federal holiday.
The FAFSA Processing System will accept data on Monday, May 25, 2026, but will not process data or send Institutional Student Information Records until Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
The Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System will accept and process data from schools and send back responses and/or acknowledgments on Monday, May 25, 2026, but schools will not be able to receive any federal funds on that day. The COD System will not process requests for changes in funding levels and funds until Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
All FSA websites will remain operational on the holiday.
