As announced on Dec. 1, 2025, Dec. 3, 2025, and Dec. 5, 2025, the U.S. Department of Education (ED) is reminding you to register to virtually attend the “Using the New Section 117 Reporting Portal” training webinar, which will occur on Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. Eastern time. The training webinar will include a welcome and introduction from Under Secretary of Education Nicholas Kent, brief comments from Deputy General Counsel/Chief Investigative Counsel Paul Moore, an explanation of the access authorization process for the new portal, a detailed demonstration of the new portal, and a moderated question-and-answer chat session.
