Update on June 10, 2024: We have completed the upgrade of the COD Web Reporting platform. As of June 10, 2024, COD web users will see the web reporting changes described in the “COD System Changes for 2024–25” attachment.
Update on April 24, 2024: During the weekend of April 20–21, 2024, we implemented COD System functionality for the 2024–25 award year. Due to some issues encountered during implementation, we have delayed the upgrade to the COD Web Reporting platform as described in the “COD System Changes for 2024–25” attachment. All other functionality was implemented as planned.
We will update this announcement again once we have a new date for the upgrade to the COD Web Reporting platform.
On April 21, 2024, we plan to implement Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System functionality that supports the Campus-Based programs and the processing of Federal Pell Grant (Pell Grant), Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant, and William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (Direct Loan) awards for the 2024–25 award year.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important activity.
COD System Outage Information
To implement the COD System functionality, we will suspend COD batch processing from 11 p.m. Eastern time (ET) on Saturday, April 20, 2024, to 11 a.m. ET on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Records submitted after this time will be held and processed after 11 a.m. ET on Sunday, April 21, 2024.
In addition, during the outage—

Users will not be able to submit or retrieve data via the COD website.

Users will not be able to access the COD Reports area of the COD website.
2024–25 COD System Implementation Information
The attachment titled “Reminders and 2024–25 Funding Authorization and Disbursement Information,” provides reminders for the 2024–25 award year and 2024–25 funding authorization and disbursement information.
The attachment titled “COD System Changes for 2024–25,” highlights the system changes we will implement on April 21, 2024.
