We are pleased to provide the following forms for the 2024–25 award year:
2024–25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) Form
Final PDF versions of the 2024–25 FAFSA forms are now available on StudentAid.gov in both English and Spanish. The FAFSA form is used by individuals applying for federal student aid. The federal student aid application process is required to collect and process the data necessary to determine a student’s eligibility to receive Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended, program assistance. The process begins with an applicant submitting a FAFSA form to the Department.
2024–25 FAFSA® Form for Confined or Incarcerated Individuals
Confined or incarcerated individuals must complete the FAFSA form to determine their eligibility for a Federal Pell Grant. They may do so using the online application, or they may mail the FAFSA designated for incarcerated students to Federal Student Aid for processing. The 2024-25 Incarcerated Student FAFSA is available here: English version; Spanish version. The FAFSA designated for confined or incarcerated individuals is identical to the online FAFSA and the “paper” FAFSA except the FAFSA designated for incarcerated students states as such and provides a separate mailing address to send the application for processing. This separate mailing address ensures we account for the special circumstances of incarcerated students and the security requirements of correctional facilities that may impact paper, printing, mailing, and writing tools.
2024–25 FAFSA® Submission Summary
After the FAFSA form is processed, the student will receive a FAFSA Submission Summary, which contains the answers provided on the FAFSA form and gives basic estimates about the student’s eligibility for federal student aid. Mock-ups of the final versions of the 2024–25 English and Spanish FAFSA Submission Summary are now available in PDF. The mock-ups are provided to the community as a resource that can be used as a training tool for staff or for financial aid presentations.
Note: As we described in the Dec. 15, 2023 Electronic Announcement, the student will not receive a FAFSA Submission Summary until after we fully process the 2024–25 FAFSA form.
