Over the weekend of Dec. 11–12, 2021, we plan to complete important system work that will impact several Federal Student Aid websites and systems. This work is in addition to the regular weekly maintenance that occurs each weekend.
Users attempting to access an impacted website or system during the outage period will receive an error message informing them that the page cannot be found or that the site is unavailable due to maintenance.
Please have the appropriate individuals at your school or organization review the information below in advance of the outage periods.
StudentAid.gov and myStudentAid Mobile App Outages

From 5 p.m. Eastern time (ET) on Saturday, Dec. 11, until 1 a.m. ET on Sunday, Dec. 12, users will be able to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form but will be unable to access and complete most other forms or processes, including the Master Promissory Note, the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Help Tool, the Income-Driver Repayment (IDR) Plan Request, and entrance and exit counseling. During this period, users will also have limited access to customer service email functionality, the Feedback Center, the Status Center, and the Notification Center.

From 1 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Dec. 12, users will not be able to log in to the StudentAid.gov website or sign in to the myStudentAid mobile app. Users will not be able to complete the FAFSA form or any additional forms or processes that require the user to log in.
FSA Partner Connect Outages

From 5–11 p.m. ET on Saturday, Dec. 11, users will not be able to log in to the FSA Partner Connect website. Publicly accessible content will be available during this time, including the Knowledge Center and FSA Handbook.

From 11 p.m. ET on Saturday, Dec. 11, until 1 p.m. ET on Sunday Dec. 12, all features of the FSA Partner Connect website will be unavailable, including the Knowledge Center and FSA Handbook.
COD System Outage
The Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System will also have an outage this weekend. Information about processing impacts for the COD System are provided in a Dec. 3, 2021 Electronic Announcement.
