Federal Student Aid will establish an Office of Enforcement, headed by Kristen Donoghue, as chief enforcement officer.

The Enforcement Office will conduct oversight of schools that pose significant risk to students and taxpayers, and to be most effective, the office will leverage strong partnerships with federal and state entities, such as the Federal Trade Commission; Consumer Financial Protection Bureau; the U.S. departments of Defense, Justice, and Veterans Affairs; and state attorneys general.
