Subject: Access Removed for Unconfirmed TG Numbers (SAIG Mailboxes) and Electronic Services User Accounts
In October 2016 we initiated the active confirmation process that required every organization enrolled for a Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) account to review and validate its assigned TG numbers by December 9, 2016. This included TG numbers (SAIG mailboxes) with access to the NSLDS Professional Access website, the COD Web site, the eCampus-Based (eCB) website, and all FAA Access to CPS Online and EDconnect user accounts. It also included TG numbers enrolled for SAIG batch services for the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS®), the Central Processing System (CPS), the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System, and the Financial Management System (FMS). An electronic announcement posted on October 24, 2016 to the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) website, as well as reminder email notifications, provided detailed instructions for completing this confirmation process.
We have now removed access to enrolled services for accounts that have not been actively confirmed. To restore access to these accounts your organization’s Primary Destination Point Administrator (Primary DPA) must perform the account validation process as outlined in our previous communications. Refer to the October 24, 2016 electronic announcement for step-by-step instructions, as well as important reminders.
