Subject: Loan Servicing Information - Federal Loan Servicer Name Change
In our on-going efforts to keep the financial aid community informed about our federal loan servicers, we are posting this Electronic Announcement to give notice of a recent federal loan servicer name change. Specifically, one of the Not-for-Profit (NFP) members of our federal loan servicer team – ESA/Edfinancial – has changed its name to HESC/Edfinancial.
The Department has updated the servicer’s name on all of its Web sites and systems as necessary including, but not limited to, the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), StudentLoans.gov, the IFAP Web site, StudentAid.gov, and the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System.
HESC/Edfinancial’s contact center support services (phone numbers, Web sites, and e-mail addresses) have not changed. There is no impact on borrowers.
Contact information for HESC/Edfinancial can be found on both the Loan Servicing Centers for Schools and Loan Servicing Centers for Students pages on the IFAP Web site. We appreciate the community’s support in assisting borrowers who may have questions about the servicer name change.
