Subject: No Change to NSLDS TSM/FAH User Guide and Batch File Layouts for 2017-2018

As we approach the October 1, 2016 implementation of the 2017-2018 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) (Early FAFSA), we would like to remind the community that schools may continue to use the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) Transfer Student Monitoring (TSM)/Financial Aid History (FAH) User Guide and Batch File Layouts dated January 2016 for the 2017-2018 Award Year. The user guide and layouts were posted to the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) Web site on November 24, 2015.

As noted in Early FAFSA Electronic Announcement #6, we typically provide an update to the TSM/FAH User Guide and Batch File Layouts prior to the start of a new award year. However, for the 2017-2018 Award Year, we have made no changes to the TSM/FAH information.
