Subject: Internet Explorer 9 and 10 Browser Support Ending on COD, StudentLoans.gov and TEACH Grant Web Sites

In our on-going efforts to ensure the security of our data systems, we continually evaluate the supported browsers for our various systems and Web sites.

Effective May 26, 2016, the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) Web Site, StudentLoans.gov and the TEACH Grant Web site will no longer support Internet Explorer 9 and Internet Explorer 10. After May 26th, school users and borrowers using these browsers will not be able to access the sites and will receive an error message. Internet Explorer 11 is supported, and users can continue to access the sites on other browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.).

We appreciate your understanding as we ensure schools, students, and parents access our sites in the most secure way possible.
