Subject: Christmas and New Year's Federal Holiday Processing and Customer Service Hours

December 23, 2015 Note: Due to an Executive Order issued earlier this month, our federal offices will be closing four hours early on Thursday, December 24, 2015 (Christmas Eve Day). In addition, the call centers for FedLoan Servicing (PHEAA), one of our federal loan servicers, will be closing at 3:00 PM (ET) on Christmas Eve Day instead of the previously reported 5:00 PM (ET), as shown in the attachment to this announcement.

Our federal offices as well as our Title IV processors and contact centers will be closed on Friday, December 25, 2015 to observe the Christmas Day federal holiday as well as on Friday, January 1, 2015 to observe the New Year's Day federal holiday. In addition, some of our Title IV processors and contact centers will have additional closures during the holiday period. See the attachment for the various centers' operation status during the holiday period.
