Subject: Webinar for Experimental Sites Initiative’s "Second Chance Pell: Pell for Students Who Are Incarcerated"
This Electronic Announcement informs institutions of a webinar that will provide an overview of the Second Chance Pell: Pell for Students Who Are Incarcerated experiment that was included in the August 3, 2015 Federal Register. During the webinar we will discuss the relevant regulatory waivers and other features of the experiment. We will also discuss institutional reporting requirements for the experiment. Although the primary audience for this webinar is staff from higher education institutions (schools), staff from correctional facilities and other stakeholders that may partner with schools under this experiment are also invited.

To register for this webinar, please send an email to the Experimental Sites Initiative (ESI) mailbox at: experimentalsites@ed.gov. In your email indicate “Second Chance Pell ESI Webinar” in the subject line and provide: your name, telephone number, the name of your school, and the names of all staff members (including yourself if applicable) who will be viewing the session in the body of the email.
Once registered, an e-mail confirmation will be sent to the email address used to register for the webinar. The recipient of the confirmation should retain this email, as it will contain important information, including the web link and log in information for the webinar web site, as well as system testing links.
PowerPoint slides will be available to download after logging into the webinar. There will be a live question and answer period at the conclusion of the presentation.
