Subject: Issue Alert: ISIR Delivery Delayed Due to Transmission Issues Between CPS and SSA
We are alerting all schools that we identified and resolved a transmission issue between the Social Security Administration (SSA) and the Central Processing System (CPS) on Monday, July 13, 2015. As a result of this issue, there was a minor delay to the processing and distribution of 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 Institutional Student Information Records (ISIRs) to destination points on Monday.
Please note the following processing schedule adjustments for the remainder of this week:
-
The CPS will distribute ISIRs on Tuesday, July 14, that resulted from the delayed CPS processing on Monday, July 13.
-
No additional ISIR files will be sent to schools on Tuesday, July 14.
-
The CPS will distribute ISIRs on Wednesday, July 15, for records received after the cutoff for Monday's CPS processing compute and records received on Tuesday.
CPS processing will resume with normal turnaround times for ISIR distributions on Thursday, July 16, and Friday, July 17.
We regret any inconvenience this processing delay causes you or your students.
