Subject: Gainful Employment Electronic Announcement #51 - NSLDS Gainful Employment Submittal File Record Layouts
We are pleased to announce the availability of the updated National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) Gainful Employment Submittal File Record Layouts. Institutions should use information in these layouts to prepare their systems to submit required gainful employment (GE) information to the U.S. Department of Education.
The NSLDS Gainful Employment Submittal File Record Layouts are now available in the NSLDS Record Layouts section on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) Web site. The layouts can also be downloaded from the Resources section of the Gainful Employment Information Page. The layouts are available in both fixed-width and comma separated values (CSV) format.
Note: As a reminder, on January 13th and again on January 15th, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. (ET) we will present a webinar that will discuss reporting GE data to NSLDS. Refer to Dear Colleague Letter ANN-14-27 for complete information, including how to register.
