Subject: OUTAGE RESOLVED - Federal Student Aid Systems Resume Normal Operations
On January 5, 2015, an issue prevented authorized users from accessing many Federal Student Aid systems. In addition, some student-facing Web sites were unavailable to customers.
Federal Student Aid resolved the issue last evening, and normal operations resumed at that time. Close monitoring of all systems occurred overnight and will continue throughout the day.
Federal Student Aid regrets the inconvenience caused by the unplanned outage and appreciates the community's patience and understanding.
