Subject: Publication of Federal Register Notice Inviting Postsecondary Educational Institutions to Participate in New Experiments Under the Experimental Sites Initiative
On July 25, 2014, we released a pre-publication copy of the Federal Register notice that invites postsecondary educational institutions to apply to participate in new institutionally-based experiments under the Experimental Sites Initiative (ESI). These experiments support President Obama’s higher education initiatives. Today, July 31, 2014, the ESI notice was published in the Federal Register [79 FR 44429]. We have attached a copy to this announcement.
Note that letters of interest from institutions interested in participating in one or more of the experiments described in the ESI notice must be submitted to the Department no later than September 29, 2014 to receive priority consideration.
