Subject: 2013-2014 Application Processing System Specifications for Software Developers (August 2013 Update)

We are pleased to announce the posting of an August 2013 update to the 2013-2014 Application Processing System Specifications for Software Developers.

In this version, Reject 24 for the NSLDS Fraud Loan Flag has been added in the Complete Reject Edits section. This new reject will be implemented on January 2, 2014 for the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 award years. For more information about this change, refer to the 2014-2015 Summary of Changes for the Application Processing System guide, which will be available on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) Web site in early November 2013.

In addition to its current availability on the IFAP Web site, the specifications will also be available in the next several days from the Federal Student Aid Download (FSAdownload) Web site, located at https://www.fsadownload.ed.gov.
