Subject: POSTPONED - SAIG Mailbox Functions Unavailable January 12-13, 2013 (Updated January 8, 2013)
Note: Federal Student Aid has postponed the extended maintenance activity described below and will reschedule the maintenance for a future weekend. Please monitor the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) Web site for a forthcoming communication that will announce the rescheduled maintenance activity and outage of SAIG mailbox functions.
During the weekend of January 12-13, 2013, we need to execute an extended maintenance activity that will impact Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) Mailbox users. Please review the information in this announcement and evaluate the impact on your school or organization during the period when the affected SAIG functions will be unavailable. This work is in addition to the regular weekly maintenance that occurs each weekend
SAIG Mailbox Functions Unavailable from 12:00 A.M. (ET) on Saturday, January 12, 2013 until 11:59 P.M. (ET) on Sunday, January 13, 2013
From 12:00 A.M. (ET) on Saturday, January 12, 2013 until 11:59 P.M. (ET) on Sunday, January 13, 2013, the SAIG mailbox functions will be unavailable in order to implement system updates. During this time, users will receive an error message informing them that the SAIG is unavailable.
