Subject: Christmas and New Year’s Processing and Customer Service Hours (Updated December 21, 2012)
Note: The President signed an Executive Order on December 21, 2012, closing the federal government on Monday, December 24, 2012. In addition to the closure of our federal offices, there may be additional closures or modified schedules for our Title IV processors and call centers on that day. Thank you for your understanding.
Our federal offices as well as our Title IV processors and call centers will be closed on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 to observe the Christmas Day federal holiday, as well as on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 to observe the New Year’s Day federal holiday. In addition, some call centers will have other closures during the holiday period. See the attachment for the various centers’ operation status on the holidays.
